Due to the outrageous gas prices across the U.S., some companies are drilling for oil around the Los Angeles area, most notably Culver City-where TAGS' exteriors were filmed at Forty Acres. They are even slant drilling at Baldwin Hills, located just south of the old Forty Acres lot. Just think, near where Gomer and Goober pumped gas for customers, they are drilling for oil.
