Last October I had to put my dear orange tabby cat Opie to sleep due to old age - he wasn't a spring chicken anymore. I had/have many outside kitties, and my best friend named a special one Mayberry. She's quite a young fun gal - just turned a year old this month, and last night, Mayberry had her own first kindle - two black ones and one white/orange spotted. I have put a bucket on my head and thunk and thunk of what to name these little ones, and right away, Winkin, Blinkin and Nod came to mind, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to communicate with them. Barney's not around to translate what they meow-er to me.
