Here is just a suggestion for some of you who don't care for Warren. Personally I think the guy was just introduced wrong to begin with. If you get rid of The Bazaar and have his introduction be either Lost and Found or the Taylors off to Hollywood followed by The Barney episodes ending with Barney handing the town over to Warren as he did just earlier and you may see him in a different light. true he was no Don Knott's Barney but he held his own just the same. try it sometime, avoid the bazaar as his introduction and he comes off a lot better.
