When Andy and Barney step out of Silent Sam's farm house after delivering the baby.....well Andy delivered the baby......they breathed deeply of the rain freshed air. OK? One more maybe.....when the inspector was in the courthouse in Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, the local dogs got a whiff of his dog on his clothing? What do you think?
Our local Nebraska PBS station ran the Pioneers of Television--Sitcoms program last evening (Wed). It was very well done and had a nice segment on The Andy Griffith Show. I hope you see it if not already. In the segment on Lucille Ball they had a scene with Lucy in a store checking out "unbreakable dishes". The clerk in the store was our Stranger In Town, Ed Sawyer!
