There are two scenes that come to mind where Andy Griffith's humorous reaction comes out vs. Sheriff Taylor's slightly lesser grin and laugh: When he and Barn are dragging Ernest T. out of Mrs. Wiley's social and ET grabs onto the doorframe to resist; at Howard's first shindig in his newly redecorated bachelor pad, when Helen is cutting a rug with Emmett and Goober punches him in the arm in utter enjoyment!
