I agree there are different types of Andy Taylor. First is the backwoods talkin' hillbilly-type. Then came the easy-going Andy. Not much ruffled his feathers and he lost his southern drawl. This is my personal favorite type of Andy. Then, after Barney left, Andy became short tempered. He yelled at Opie more and seemed generally grouchy in most situations. He just didn't have the time nor patience anymore. Of course, with time we all change. I know I have. Was that just the actor of the man, or was the real Andy reflected in his change?
