Tom mentioned good old Ferdie. He passed away about a year ago or so and
his obituary was in our city paper as there are two people from my church
who went to high school with him. They both told me that when he was in
high school he was always so funny. I had shown that episode at my church
with a Back to Mayberry Study and my friend sent a letter to Ferdie telling
him about it, but she received a reply saying he had just passed away.

I also had to watch Family Visit this weekend. I was looking for some
ideas. My wife's sister from Australia is at our house for eight days and
my wife's four other sisters have been coming and going for the last four
days. Unfortunately there were no prison breaks so I couldn't ask any of
them for help. I thought about telling them I left the gas on in the
kitchen and there might be an explosion, but then I remembered we have an
electric stove. Guess I will have to just tough it out. We don't even have
a trout pond I can send them to.
