I just finished reading Bryson City Tales by Walt Larimore, MD. It is a book about a doctor's first year of practice in Bryson City, NC. It reminded me a lot of Mayberry. It's a good summer read for anyone who enjoys stories of a small city and colorful characters like our Mayberry friends.
