Hello Mayberry friends. I guess we all have favorite AGS lines. Most of mine have already been listed, but I'll put in a plug for them anyway. My number one favorite line would probably be when Barney said to Gomer, "Gomer, get down there with them spiders, and get to work!" Almost everything Briscoe Darling said was a treasure, but I loved it when he was at the horse trough and said in regard to horses, "If I see one comin', I'll give him the right of way" And when he responded to Aunt Bee's recitation of "The Rose" by saying, ".... your heart was talkin' to my heart, now my heart's answerin' " "MEAT"! "TATERS"! Mr. Darling, when accusing Andy of egging Charlene on, "I see how you hold in your stomach when she's around" Andy: She makes me nervous"! Barney: soooo many lines in "Dogs, Dogs, Dogs" but "Boy, Giraffes are selfish!" is one of the best. I liked it when Barney informed Opie that he, himself, had "strong pinching fingers" when he was teaching him how to use a slingshot. I guess we could all go on and on listing special lines. The writers were "genius'" I'm so happy to have all of those episodes in my movie library! You all Have A Mayberry Day! Danna In Indiana
