Nine members of our chapter attended the Mayberry Night in Troy,N.C. on 08/09/08.Everyone had a fantastic time.The performances by the tribute artists were more personal and up close than would be possible at Mayberry Days in Mt.Airy.Of course The Dillards & Maggie Peterson Mancuso also gave a stellar performance.I would encourage everyone to attend next year.Jeff"Howard Sprague"Branch was in charge of the whole shabang and a tip of the hat to him! In closing,think about attending next year.I saw licence plates from NC,SC,Ca,Va,WV.And that's just the ones I spotted.I'M telling 'ya,it was BIG!
