>From a true fan's perspective of TAGS, it's hard to narrow down a particular favorite season. Interestingly, according to the Nielsen ratings, the eighth and final season was ranked the best in the history of the series with 'Barney Hosts a Summit Meeting' being the highest rated single episode. BUT, those numbers really mean nothing to a TAGS purist. ALL of the seasons contained excellent work. There is really not a "bad" episode of TAGS produced, even though Andy, at the time, acknowledged bad scripts publicly. The pace slowed considerably after Don Knotts departed. All this being said, I would have to rate the "4th" season of TAGS as being the best creatively. Brian Rodahaver One Of Maryland's Biggest TAGS Fans!!!
