I love to listen to Suspense...I listen to it every night before going to
sleep. I've several TAGS-related people on Suspense (I bought 9 mp3 CDs off of
Ebay with 887 episodes, ranging from 1942-1962). Anyway, in the mid-50s,
Howard McNear and Parely Baer were in several episodes of Suspense, playing
serious roles. I've also heard Sheldon Leonard, Dick Haynes and Helen Kleeb (I
believe she was in "Opie's Fortune" as Mrs. Parnell Rigsby and she also played
Miss Emily or Miss Maime on The Waltons--can't remember which right now). It's
really fun to listen to these, you imagine everything and the stories are
great. I'll keep you posted if I hear anyone else from TAGS on Suspense. I'm
going to get other radio shows too that I like.

"In the best of times, our days are numbered anyway. And so it would be
a crime against nature for any generation to take the world crisis so
solemnly that we would put off doing those things for which we were
intended for in the first place, the opportunity to do good work, to fall
in love, to enjoy friends, to hit a ball and to bounce a baby" --Alistaire Cooke
