Andy deserved what he got when Elly Walker blessed him out for being so arrogant. Andy thought because Elly accepted his invite for the Church dance so fast that she was looking for matrimony. Andy sent 3 fellows to give the fox other game to hunt. That was arrogant Andy . He did wrong. Then Elly was going to ask the first fellow that walked through the drug store to the dance. It was Barney. Later on Andy was sulking on the porch about the situation when Aunt Bee came up with an evil plan to have Andy "persuade" Barney to work the parking and possible pickpocketers at the dance so he can have another chance to take Elly to the dance. As expected Barney couldnt turn down the chance of catch'n a criminal. Andy abused his authority ( Bee said to Andy " you are his boss ) Andy did wrong again. 2 wrongs from Andy, 1 from Aunt Bee and to top it off, Andy talked his way into spending the date with Elly even after she had a back up date with Opie.
