I'm sorry that I'm missing the Mayberry Days 2008 festivities this year. How deserted lies the city... With a Noreaster moving up the East Coast, the weather in Mt. Airy should be interesting. (I.E. 'Dogs, Dogs, Dogs'). My favorite moment of my total "Mayberry Days" experience was meeting Harvey Bullock at the 2002 Mayberry Days during overcast conditions. He brought some onions at Professor Brower's Lecture that made a Barbara Walters interview pale in comparison! All is not lost, however. I saw Jim Nabors in Pennsylvania during the summer!
