I feel Reta Shaw was much classier than the lady convict ever could be; I remember seeing her in many roles as a household servant (i.e. Pollyanna) and she was still classy! As for Allan Melvin, I most often remember him as Archie Bunker's pal with all the marital difficulties or as Sam the butcher, paramour of Alice, the Brady Bunch housekeeper.
