I hadn't gotten my digest for about a week and then they all came at once this
morning, so I am a little behind on the issues.
I just wanted to thank Tom Kessel for sharing his knowledge of the TAGS cast
members. I have always been a bigger fan of what we refer to as character
actors than of the big stars. These people add so much to the overall
performance whether it's on the stage, the big screen or TV. Reta Shaw as Big
Maude Tyler has always been one of my favorites as "Convicts at Large" has
always been my favorite episode. Tom's insights on Alan Hale Jr. were also
interesting. I was a fan of his as well, whether he was playing a likable
character like Jeff Pruitt or a heavy in the Clint Eastwood movie, Hang 'em
High.
Lastly, Mr. Kessel, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out who the
actor was at the '70's autograph session who had the number one all-time hit
series. How about a couple of more hints.
