I have been told the gentleman's name is Tom Jacobs. He is in a ton of episodes. I remember 1 episode where he talks. Where Goober Takes the car a part. He says How did they do it Sheriff or something along those lines. I also have heard he was Danny Thomas Brother In Law. So it doesn't hurt to know people in high places.
