This point brings up an interesting question to ponder.. (with or without bucket) What character actor played roles that were the most different? We have Reta Shaw-in the roles listed above. There is Allen Melvin, the criminal/jail escapee...and then Allen the Good guy, Army recruiter or Hotel detective. There is the Shoplifter, who was also the Charity Lady Annabelle Silby in Opie's Charity. (she looked a lot different) There is George the TV repair man, who was of course Ernest T Bass. Or was it Barney Fife as the Cleaning Woman Mrs. McGruder's cousin and Barney Fife the Mannequin.
