With the stock market plunging another 350 points today I pulled out all my money and bought up all the dried berries that I could find. I have a stockpile you wouldn't believe. I tell you if berries on ladies hats ever come back I will be sitting pretty. I checked it out on the machines down at the bank, and they are gooooooooooooooooooooood machines . I keep thinking of my friend Dave at the Taylor Home Inn Bed and Breakfast. You all do know he is an undertaker by trade. I bet he is diversifying and now selling TV antennas too. Friends, I am so glad that we have this Mayberry Digest where we can lighten up a bit during these trying times. Life gets too serious at times, but fortunately we always have the Digest here each day where we can enjoy a little lighthearted foolishness to brighten our day. At least that is what I do. I am doing my very first newly revised Power Point Mayberry presentation for a ladies group at a neighboring church. Maybe I should take along a few bottles of Colonel Harvey's Elixir just in case I am not a big hit.
