>>>do any of the old timers out there know who played the extra who showed up in a lot of TAGS episodes and had no speaking parts-He was an older gentleman with moustache and prominent nose and looked almost of Lebanese or mediteranean extraction.<<<
Boy, I answer this with that link to the picture of Tom Jacobs and everything , not even realizing you called me an "old-timer". I may be trained noticer, and a Digest Veteran..but I am NOT an "OLD TIMER" (high spirited maybe but not sensitive) Thanks Kristi and Welford and others for those wonderful capsules of Mayberry Days. We were right there with you when reading your accounts. Ken, if you're going to go speak to those ladies-I think you should change your investment strategy. They don't want berries on hats any more. They want their own charge accounts!! So they won't have to march out of stores in their slips when their credit has been frozen. Get with Mr. Meldrum and start your own Mayberry Mastercard!! Tom K, what a touching story on Burt Mustin. Do you have any memories from him during happier times?? Also thanks for introducing me to Dick Ryan, Ticket seller in "Don't miss a Good Bet" I would have never known what an accomplished actor that he was, (from that 5 second appearance) or that TAGS was one of his last appearances if you had not shared that sad, but true, fate of a gifted actor. Casa Blanca??? I will have to rent that soon to jump on that mystery.. can't wait to see if any movie buffs out there can answer you on that. Did you see that US steel was down again? And pretty much everything else took a slight dip!! Ken I would hold on to that seventeen cents. I'll bet you only get 12 or 13 next quarter The Untrained Voice _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
