thanks Joe for your help tho that lost message i see tonight was posted 3 times. i reread some of my messages i sumitted. i mentioned briefly the Barney Hold a Summit episode from 1968 with this great character actor who played the gruff overbearing head of the Russian delagation. and i made mention of another most unusual rare talented played out scene one of my favorites from the series. This scene had Andy shouting his head off at Barney almost like never before.it was like Andy Taylor after all hes been thru with Barney's shenigans iover the years finally got fed up with it all and busted at the seams. But until i get the series on dvd, i will never enjoy the sheer impact. My episodes are all on vhs and theyre all off you guessed it, the King of Tv Buchers, Tv Land. In hindsight i remember now this is an example of many key scenes from this classic series that those buffoons cut to allow more commericals. we all know many episodes that are victims of the scissors. But here is Andy Griffith in another display of his gifted talent, blazing new trails by practically wanting to SWEAR at Barney when he hands him the phone to call back the his superiors. Only problem is TvLand always edits out portions,in this case of hat vital scene. ITs not that im so much impressed by the scene ,the power of it being plaed out but moreso the range of dramatic flare Andy Griffith can display for what is otherwise a comedy. We all know Tv Land for what its worth. No i wont use that kind of language...Tv Land let TAGS be what its meant to be..the TAGS in full completion no deleting so you can sell a product.Tomorrow if i see this went thru, ill finally reveal the Casablanca cameo. As for House of Horrors, Martin Kosleck pointed out a hint of his relevation. He said Tom in horror films if a man kills a monster why would he say "We better get this man to a hospital." thats the clue. He was so right. An actual human emotion caught on film ..no acting just concern over an actor looking deathly ill on the studio sound stage.
