The big mystery alongside who played Mr. Schwampleast as a possible name attached to the actor. Casablanca 1942 a film classic, probably having more characters and supporting actors in one film other than Mission To Moscow, has many up in arms as to who played the nightclub patron at the table when Sam is playing the piano. This is for the trivia buff that's in all of us TAGS followers. Its JACK BENNY!! It's been long rumored and I've frozen the scene time and again and my goodness it sure looks like him. I'm surprised not many out there have it on DVD to see for themselves. Under contract for Warner and filming George Washington Slept Here, it's just likely Benny did do a cameo. But until its officially confirmed by his family or associates (Everyone connected with the film, I believe, has sadly left us). This will remain an unknown mystery with us scratching our heads ( I mean toupees) alongside who is Mr. Schwamp? Well I got enough mileage out of that inquiry. Moving on. And another TAGS alumni we can add to the roster who I had the honor of interviewing by phone in 1979, the head of Foster Furniture Polishing Co, that Man in a Hurray the brilliant Robert Embardt who was so kind and appreciated. He told me at the time when I commented on his brilliant roles in both episodes that in Foster Lady, he held high hopes for Ronnie Schell to become a big star during the filming, stating Schell was extremely talented outgoing had a natural flair to mug. Schell, by the way, was on an upswing, preparing for a featured role in a new series Good Morning America that featured Billy DeWolf another forgotten massive talent who was one of a kind. Dewolf sent me an autograph near the end of his life after his battle with cancer.
