Some of the good historians here at the Digest have mentioned before about a Star Trek Episode that took place on the same 40 acres lot where the Andy Griffith Show was filmed. A few links to still shots have been presented as well. I always wanted to see that particular episode, "The City on the Edge of forever", but figured I would never be lucky enough to run across it on Network TV.
Then I stumbled across this internet site fancast.com that actually has it available for computer viewing. What a treat!! If you watch it, beware that there are other locales used in the city shots, but definitely 3 or 4 Mayberry venues that are recognizable, even one by name.
