How about this for romance in Mayberry. The very first (Alpha) TAGS episode
opened with the Rose's wedding and the very last (Omega) episode about
Mayberry (Return to Mayberry) ended with Barney and Thelma Lou getting
married. How fitting that the greatest TV program ever should begin with
love and end with love.
