Question: Does anyone know if Pa and Opie were really together while making
the video? It looked to me like one of them was edited into the video of the
other.

It looked like they were in front of a green screen type backdrop and were
actually in different places when they taped that part. On the other hand,
Richie and the Fonz were right next to each other during their (hilarious)
part.

Someone mentioned Howard didn't give many reasons for supporting Obama.
Without taking a side here, I'm guessing it's because Hollywood celebrities
often open themselves up to ridicule when they start talking policy. I'm
guessing his purpose (along with Andy's and Henry's) was to address undecided
voters who were already leaning slightly toward Obama. Also keep in mind
Wisconsin (where "Happy Days" took place) and North Carolina have been
described as
battleground states, plus there's a specific age demographic involved as well.

Personally I've never decided a candidate based strictly on a celebrity and
made up my own mind on the presidential race a long time ago (won't say who I
chose here, this isn't the place for it) but I believe Ron Howard's purpose
was to ask voters to make an informed choice (preferably in his preferred
direction, obviously) and appeared to address people who don't already
identify
with either major party, or are open to crossing over. I was a bit surprised
to see the three appear in character, though.
