Non-quiet times in Mayberry I enjoyed (as always) Ken Anderson's post about being in a noisy world, and preferring the quietness of Mayberry.
There were a few times though, that Mayberry wasn't so quiet. Can you help me with a list? That big traffic Jam while Andy was gone, that Floyd wouldn't stop mentioning to Barney When they were using dynamite for the new Highway underpass in the Loaded Goat When all those kids were making noise and Barney was trying to convince Andy to stay (actually it was just Goober and his truck horn, woo woo) When all the ladies were assembled at the Courthouse doors over Mr. Frisbees forced sale (we got a situation here) Barney practicing Cymbals in the Courthouse When the Mayberry Marching Band practiced (off-key noise) Sorry Mr. Two Chairs-hope you're havin a nice cruise Gomer chopping wood or vacuuming when Andy tried to sleep.
