How'd they do it Sheriff? Nellie in two placed at once?<<< I have a theory about that, Joe. How do we know that there was only one Nellie? Perhaps she had an identical twin sister -- say, named Nettie (not to be confused with Nettie Albright, who doesn't look anything like Nellie). So maybe both Nellie and Nettie attended the program but couldn't sit together because there weren't enough empty seats. Hence, we see Nellie behind the bald man and Nettie in another part of the audience. Now you might say, "But they are dressed alike! Surely it is the same woman in two different seats." Aha! I have an answer to that. My parents know a set of identical twin ladies. When I met them, they were probably in their early fifties. And they dress exactly alike everywhere they go, down to the last detail (they even have matched riding lawn mowers so they can both mow together). The only way you can tell them apart is that one has a mole on her face and the other doesn't. So I contend that we see both Nellie and Nettie (as I will call her) at the program. Now you might also say, "But in every other episode where we see Nellie, she is alone and not with a look-alike." But I can answer that, too! Perhaps Nellie and Nettie, like the twins my parents know, live with their elderly mother and because of her failing health, only one of them can go out at a time. So sometimes we are seeing Nellie, and sometimes we are seeing Nettie. We just don't know which is which. Well, it's just a theory.
