Just wanted to wish all of our Mayberry friends a Happy Holiday.  This was
always one of my favorite times of year.  As a kid my parents would always
invite people who would have otherwise been alone on Thanksgiving.  Once the
word got out, things would always snowball.  Some years we would have 30 - 40
people at our house.  We would set up tables all through the house and the
basement and everyone would always have a great time.  There was a group of
four women everyone referred to as the widows who always travelled and ate
together.  All of the tables made it easy to play games well into the evening.
The widows were great canasta players.  My wife and I have tried to continue
this tradition but not quite to that extent, this year we will have about 15.

Looking forward to tomorrow, hope everyone else is as well.
