Last week CBS/Paramount released "HAWAII 5-O Season 5," which includes a 1972
comedy/drama episode guest-starring Andy Griffith.
Andy and Joyce Van Patten ("Opie Moves Up in Class") play husband-&-wife con
artists who inadvertantly rip off a syndicate courier, and wind up targets of
the mob... forcing them to help 5-O bring down the crooks, in return for
protection.
A fun outing, also featuring Harold Sakata (GOLDFINGER's 'Odd-Job') as one of
the syndicate gangsters, as well as quirky character actor Grady Sutton (W. C.
Fields' costar in THE BANK DICK, THE MAN ON THE FLYING TRAPEZE and YOU CAN'T
CHEAT AN HONEST MAN) in a cameo.
