A hearty Mayberry welcome to those who just joined this little slice of
Mayberry.

I was please to see 4 fellow Hoosiers among those 14 new members. Indiana,
home of the Mayberry Café, and for 3 years Mayberry in the Midwest, welcomes
you. Mr. Clevenger from Kokomo..you're just 10 miles from the Mayberry where I
grew up-Greentown. Frank in Centerville, good to have you back, friend.

I understand there was a big event at the Mayberry Café in Danville IN on
Saturday. Two specials guests were to appear. I'll let those who were
actually there give the official report.

Ken, glad you are taking up Mosaics. What a nice hobby for you. Marsha
Shuermann (sp?) of the Mayberry Inn. If you're reading this may I suggest
affixing whatever you have hung over the fireplace so that it can't be removed
(if you know what I mean) and make room in a closet for a special gift (wink
wink).

------------------
There is a sad story in the NFL about a player that accidently shot himself
(just a flesh wound) but every time I hear about it I think of Barney, and how
lucky he was that he never shot himself in the leg, or foot of where-ever.

--------------
I wonder if Frank Meyers chicken Hazel was named after Hazel the
pianist??-Makes you think.
I think Hazel the pianist best acting scene is when they move practice to a
home to evade Barney. There is a doorbell ring, and she just turns and covers
her mouth in shock. For a silent actress-she spoke volumes. (Oh no! he found
us!!-the awful voice is back!! John Masters is going to make us practice even
more)
