First I wanted to welcome all the new folks to Mayberry "The Friendly Town". It is so nice to see our small town grow so big yet stay such a friendly and a close community. I am looking forward to reading what you all have to add to the digest. I also wanted to wish everyone all the happy holidays this month. I was talking with the Morrison Sisters and they told me just how observant all the folks in Mayberry are of all their holidays and how they all love to celebrate them. So with several of us celebrating the biggest holiday of our religions this coming month I wanted to include everyone. As for TvLand, well, yes they have cut many scenes and have played around with the best show they have, many, many times but it is still our only national source to be able to sit together as a community and watch the show together. I know many of us have DVD sets but it is still nice to watch the same as our neighbor it gives us something to talk about together. Personally I watch the first two episodes TvLand airs and then I spend the next hour watching the DVD(UNCUT Version) It makes it nice to be able to pick out those scenes that hit the floor at TvLand. Ken I am sure knowing you as we all do you have already glued your fingers together but I am sure your cow looks real nice perhaps Aunt Bee will hang it over her mantel at the Taylor Home.
