I'd like to add my opinion to The Untrained Voice's fan fiction. It was such a good story line that in my head, that will be fixed as the reason why Opie's mom died. Now here is a question for all you medical people out there. At the time Opie would have been born, would medical science be advanced enough to have been able to save Maggie? Would she have known that pregnancy would be a risk for her heart condition? Would she have know that she had inherited a heart condition? It's preying on my mind.
