Andy may have had a sip now and then, but he was a man of moderation and common sense.I remember when Anje and Barn went to the big city, Barney thought andy packed a bottle — "You think of everything," he said with a wide grin.But i believe it was pickalilly (spell?) relish.Andy enjoyed a taste of moonshine as Barney smashed the still, ordered a beer with Peggy and was present at the mayor's office and with Goob at the restaurant when booze was served.He and Barn also talked of taking the Fun girls out to a place where beer was served and another place where "they let you take a bottle in."It's clear Andy was no tea-tottler but equally evident he had sense when to indulge and went to pass.And there weren't a lot of chances. The good thing about Otis was he lapped it up so fast no one else had much of an opportunity to get some firewater.Sorry about the typos. I had a couple glasses of Christmas cheer this morning.
