I am familiar with it because I have worked on his episode list. I noticed that a link to the Mayberry Historical Society is now on every Digest. If you click that link and look around, you could find character pictures like this. I have thought of it as "Mayberry Gossip Cub" but maybe it has a couple names now. I like this site because we've built up some nice pages for Mr. Schwamp, Nice Dress Nellie, Tom Jacobs..and there is lots of other good info as well. I plan to get busy again soon and add more stuff. Did anybody hear Bert Miller on one of the past podcasts? Yes, Bert sounded great. You can tell he's not pushing doorbells anymore or carrying that heavy suitcase. Strangle enough, he also sounded like Winnie the Pooh. Go figure? My wife bought a little of this, that and the other thing from Bert over Christmas I think. She said he wasn't too pushy. I was watching my new Gomer Pyle DVDs this week, and I noticed that when Sergeant Carter takes Gomer and the boys out for a hike they go down a very familiar road right outside of Mayberry, were we see the Gold Truck and other chases.
