I just want all you folks out there who are concerned about my welfare to
know that I am doing fine. The doctor said the lumps on
my head will be gone by the time our new pictures for the church directory
are taken. Now I want all of you folks to know
that my comparison of my wife to Mr. Schwump was intended in the best way
possible. We all know our dear Mr. Schwump
is a very quiet, friendly, mild mannered man. I mean, have you ever heard
him say a bad thing about anyone. And he
is always smiling. My wife does pinch me on occasion, thus another trait
she has in common with Mr. Schwump. I have no
secrets from my wife and she reads the digest on a regular occasion. She
made me promise to post an apology to you all for
comparing her to Mr. Schwump. Now that I give it more thought she is indeed
right. I here by formally apologize for saying Mr.
Schwump and my wife look alike. To be perfectly honest, Mr. Schwump is
actually a tad better looking.
