And remember Andy and Barney seated in the squad car, as the "Fun Girls" sped through town? Andy purposely misjudged their speed so they wouldn't have to arrest the girls. While not a big crime, Barney went on record as being opposed to the decision to falsify. As to Andy's back, I was wondering if in the two cases where he lifted people, might they have used stunt men to do the lifting? I'd have to go back and view those scenes more carefully. I don't recall if either of those shots were up close or distant. The shot of him lifting Flora, I believe, was a closer up shot, but I don't remember if it was a front view.
