I think the conspiracy to report a fake robbery at Walker's was proably one of, if not the worst crimes Andy initiated. ? If Tracy Crawford ever found out that Walker's wasn't really robbed and that Andy knew it and had participated in fabricating it, then not only could Andy possibly get into trouble for conspiracy to file a false police report, he might also have some serious charges to be filed against him by Mr. Crawford. Additionally, Mr. Crawford would have good cause to ask that his arrest and detainment be set aside becasue it was obtained under false pretenses, and that the Sheriff knew they were false because he had fabricated them himself.?
Consequences: 1) Tracy Crawford goes free (arguably); 2) Andy commits a felony, goes to jail and loses his job; 3) Ellie Faces jail for conspriacy as she was part of the plan?too; 3) Tracy Crawford files a civil action against Andy for abuse of discretion (or similiar) and gets a big money judgment against Andy and the County; 4) Tracy Crawford files a civil actio nagainst Ellie and gets a judgment. It could go on and on.... Noen of these are a certianty, only arguable possibilities...
