I can see why you gentlemen are erring on the side of caution when giving a lady a gift. After all you don't want to embarrass her with something a lady.....*wears*. But if you do wish to be extravagant, take my advice and go the Blue Moonlight route (over the shedding stole or pineapple skinner route).
