In honor of St Patrick's day..a hearty Top of the morning to all of you
Irish-ters our there. Ernest T Bass and Malcolm Meriwether had a
memorable truce in honor of both being from the old country.

Any other Irish-ters on our Favorite show?

Mr. O'Malley of course.
And then there is "Blarney Stone" Fife.

Those hideous Green walls in the color episodes honor St. Patrick's.

I think Wary Willy the hobo with the not-so-game Leg was Irish also.

Any others??

What about the short guy in the Barbershop quartet?

As far as actors real names:
Oscar Fields/Feldspar the con man trying to Marry Mrs. Mendlebright
...his real name was O'Malley!
A council Member in the Horse Trader was Spec O'Donald
A choir member was Barry O'Donald
Ollie O'Neal was on the train when Barney when he returned to Mayberry
in the Color episode

Top of the afternoon to you
The Untrained Voice
