I'll tell you what I like about Aunt Bee. She reminds me of both my grandmothers and a great aunt all rolled into one. (They are all gone now.) She is built like my grandma on my dad's side and dresses like her, too. She fusses about wrinkled knees and underwear. She worries about Opie's grades and is so proud when he does well. She is always making sandwiches for the road and cooks like there is no tomorrow. All that fussing and worrying remind me of how it was when I was growing up. "Aunt Bee, Opie's just going to be gone overnight."
