I can't tell you how sorry I am for violating Rule #2 last week and creating a
big mulage. I always forget that Rule. It was not my intention to besmerch
Aunt Bee or her charactor. As was pointed out there are very many episodes
where she was fantastic. My favorite Aunt Bee episode is Briscoe Declares for
Aunt Bee. Some of the all time great TAGS lines come from that episode. If
she hadn't been a good hearted person, Andy never would have asked her to help
him raise Opie.
So like Rule #2 says, I will make every effort to be more positive. It was
much warmer in Virginia today.
