'Opie the Birdman' (9/30/1963) was the ultimate "tear jerker" in the entire history of TAGS with the scenes of the chirping birds without a mother and the final scene on the Taylor front porch. A very close 2nd would be the bedroom scene in 'Mr. Beevee' where Andy told Opie that he believed him. Both episodes were written by Harvey Bullock.
