It really comes as no surprise to me that there are so many pretty single
girls in Mayberry, After all, look who the eligible men are. There's
Goober, Gomer, Howard, Floyd, Asa, Old Man Kelsey, old Jud, Ernest T., the
Darling Boys, Mr., Schwump, Fred Goss, and of course the guy with the cute
button nose, the guy with the twitching muscles, and the fellow with the
long eye lashes. Granted there are those good looking farm boys next to
Frankie Flint, but other than them the pickens in Mayberry are rather slim.
I mean the two big hunks, Andy and Barney, are spoken for.
