Yesterday I posed the following question: which Mayberry character lived in the
Remshaw House? Let me clarify this: I mean the same EXTERIOR was used for both
buildings. I wasn't talking about the interior.
With very rare exceptions, all of the buildings seen in Mayberry were nothing
but empty shells. Some of them didn't even have roofs or backs, they were
nothing but facades. The interiors were almost always shot at the Desilu
studios, a few miles away.
