Other than Floyd's admiration for Calvin Coolidge, what other non-fictional people do you remember mentioned in Mayberry? Sorry, that last email got away too quickly. Cary Grant is mentioned a number of times. Inexplicably he's called "Gary Grant" in one of the Fun Girls episodes, but in "Mayberry Goes Hollywood," "Colby's Tonsorial Parlor" specifically advertises "Cary Grant hairstyles." Glenn Ford is mentioned hilariously in the one about Barney's concerns over bank security, and in one classic scene Rock Hudson even gets his photo on screen! Earle Hagen is mentioned by name in the one about the governor's visit (the firing cannon and attempted heist of the travelling museum). Dixon **************Feeling the pinch at the grocery store?
