We've had a couple of fascinating conversations here on the digest about how come we so rarely if ever see anyone in Mayberry drinking sweetened iced tea, even though it's such a well known southern beverage.? Well, in the course of pulling my car photos, I swear, in the 1965 episode where the Taylors leave for Hollywood, I see Andy pull a pitcher out of the refrigerator, and pour himself a drink.? The drink appears brownish and definitely has lemons floating around in it, but I think we finally have visual confirmation that someone in Mayberry snuck a drink of tea while the good folks at Sanka weren't looking.? :-)
