In the picture of the 1952 Plymouth Cambridge, there is a sign on the
building in the background that says, "Waverly Malts & Hops". Was someone in
Mayberry making homemade beer??

Mayberry had a microbrewery? Wow, cool, so ahead of its time!

I have noticed signs changing from season to season and at one point there
was an import/export business across the street from the courthouse.

Thanks for the kind words about my contributions to the IMCDB TAGS page,
they added 30 more of my pictures just yesterday in fact, including some
treasures from season two like the one of the lady speeder's '61 Thunderbird.

Fun fact: two most popular cars with Mayberry residents are apparently the
1961 Mercury Comet and the 1961 Ford Falcon Futura. You do see a few
later Falcons along the way as well but not as many later Comets. Mayberry
folks were frugal people and apparently liked the new, trendy economy cars.
Most popular truck: the 1956 Ford F-100, owned by everyone from Jeff Pruitt
to Goober to Gomer.
