While watching Andy the other night I got to thinking. In the first season, there was an episode where Barney thought Andy was making a play for Thelma Lou. To retaliate, Barney put on his best Rock Hudson hairdo, and made a play for Andy's girl, Ellie. And later in that show Ellie even made a play for Barney.
What got me to thinking about it was I was watching the episode where Opie steals Thelma Lou away from Barney when Opie's little girlfriend, Karen, ignores Opie. I guess Andy would have to arrest Barney if Barney had turned the tables on Opie and made a play for his woman Karen. Them kind of goings on aint allowed in Mayberry. Last week someone posted that he thought Mr. Schwump must sound something like me. Well let me tell you something, I know Mr. Schwump, Mr. Schwump is a friend of mine, and Mr. Schwump does not sound anything like me. Although I will admit Mr. Schwump has better hair than I do.
