Seeing that 'Star Trek' was just released and depicts what happened before TOS debuted in 1966, it would be neat to see a prequel to TAGS. It would chronicle when Andy met his wife, the birth of Opie, et cetera. After Andy's wife dies, there would be a good dramatic scene with a lot of anger and angst, much like Lonesome Rhodes in 'A Face in the Crowd.' I can't see a prequel to TAGS being a major movie release, BUT it would be a nice, little black and white experimental piece in film making using the same vintage camera equipment they utilized on TAGS.
