I was watching a sort of history of coffee on the Food network this weekend. They showed some scenes from various shows including a Sanka commercial starring Gomer Pyle and Sgt Carter. Also there was a Sanka commercial starring the lady named Cora (from the cookbook that was discussed a while back).
Coffee and pop seemed to be the drink of choice in Mayberry.
